Jason is the Founder and Managing Director of Field & Kaye. Jason began his career at CBA specialising in prestige residential properties in the eastern suburbs of Sydney. Jason worked for valuation firms including Jones Lang Lassale and Herron Todd White. In 2002, Jason founded National Property Valuers, the precursor to Field & Kaye, to assist investors and corporate professionals looking for personalised, incisive and tailored valuation advice.

Jason has developed a stellar reputation as the ‘go to’ valuer for prestige residential properties in the eastern suburbs and lower north shore. Jason regularly appears as an Expert Witness in court proceedings before the Family Court of Australia, Federal Circuit Court, the Supreme Court of NSW and the NSW Civil and Administrative Tribunal. Jason is a guest lecturer at UNSW and was the previous Head of Specialised Use Commercial valuations at the University of Technology, Sydney.

Jason sits on the Board of Examiners at the Australian Property Valuers Institute and has presented to the Executive Board Rooms of NAB, CBA and Westpac.

Adam Kaye LLB

Adam is the Chief Operating Officer of Field & Kaye. Adam heads up operations and day-to-day management nationally. Adam is a qualified lawyer and began his career at Ashurst (formerly Blake Dawson), where he assisted with advising real estate companies such as Marriot, Stockland, Lendlease, ANZ, the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority, and Greaton Development on a variety of commercial and residential property transactions. Adam also practised in the area of international arbitration, representing companies in cross-border disputes involving real estate assets. Adam has experience advising foreign investors on FIRB regulations and providing advice on town planning aspects of developments for the purposes of council development approvals.

Adam currently sits on the board of the Young Professional Body of the Australia Property Institute

Dean has over 28 years’ valuation experience. Dean began his career at the Commonwealth Bank of Australia where he worked in the commercial valuations division. Thereafter, he was partner and senior valuer at Macquarie Bell Pty Ltd for 22 years before joining Field & Kaye. Dean has a broad range of valuation experience including undertaking valuations for commercial, industrial, retail and specialised-use assets including childcare centres, service stations, schools and churches. Dean regularly appears as an Expert Witness in legal proceedings and has a depth of experience in the Family Court of Australia and Supreme Court of NSW. Dean is also a Member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors.

Peter heads up the Melbourne office of Field & Kaye. Peter has 23 years’ valuation experience. Peter has a wealth of experience carrying out valuations of residential and commercial properties across metropolitan and regional VIC. Peter holds Certified Practicing Valuer status and is an Associate of the Australian Property Institute. Peter specializes in valuation reporting and advice in family law matters where he regularly appears as Expert Witness. Additionally, Peter advises private clients in relation to stamp duty, capital gains taxation and pre-purchase / pre-sale matters.

Cezar Saba is an experienced property professional with over 22 years’ experience in different aspects of real property. He began his career as a land surveyor and real estate agent before becoming a registered valuer. Cezar has over 15 years of property valuation experience with a strong focus on residential assessments. His experience includes over 8 years as a managing valuer, leading and mentoring teams within specialised mortgage valuation firms including CBRE, WBP and NAB. Cezar has successfully trained and mentored property valuation students, assisting in their progress from graduate through to the qualification of Certified Practicing Valuer (CPV) under the Australian Property Institute.

Joel Smith

Joel has been a Certified Practising Property Valuer (CPV) in New South Wales for over 20 years.

Joel provides valuations for a variety of asset classes including residential, commercial, retail, industrial, motels, nursing homes, childcare centres, vineyards and rural properties for a variety of purposes including pre-purchase/pre-sale advice, finance, stamp duty, family law, property settlements, capital gains taxation, superannuation compliance and probate.
Throughout his career, Joel has undertaken valuations for a variety of major financial institutions including for the Commonwealth Bank of Australia, National Australia Bank, Westpac Banking Corporation and Macquarie Bank.

Joel regularly undertakes valuations in the following areas:

Jeremy is Queensland State Manager for Field & Kaye and heads up the Brisbane office. Jeremy has 25 years’ valuation experience. Jeremy has a wealth of experience carrying out valuations on residential, commercial, retail and industrial properties across metropolitan and regional Qld. Jeremy specialises in project feasibility analysis, resumption & compensation matters, appears regularly as an expert witness and prepares valuations for financial reporting purposes for the public & private sectors. Jeremy is also an Affiliate Member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors having led a team of quantity surveyors over the past 15 years.

Stephen has over 40 years’ valuation experience. Stephen has a wealth of domestic and international valuation experience. Stephen specialises in valuations of unusual properties and high-end residential properties in the Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Stephen is a guest lecturer on Valuation of Unusual Properties at the University of Technology, Sydney and has presents to the Australian Property Institute on valuations of telecommunications facilities. Stephen has been retained by various government agencies to provide high-end valuation advice for the purpose of acquisition and resumption.

Formerly, Stephen was a senior valuer at the Rushton Group, whereby he obtained a breadth of valuation experience across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea. Notably, Stephen was retained by a publicly-listed company to undertake valuations of coffee plantations in the PNG Highlands and appeared as expert in the post-Cyclone Tracy Loss Assessment case. Stephen’s clients have included the Department of Housing, Landcom, Sydney Ports Corporation, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, National Parks & Wildlife, Sydney Water, North Sydney Council, Hurstville Council, Telstra, AGL and the Solomon Islands Government Super Fund. As a Chartered Accountant, his career spans roles in financial accounting, financial management and accounts management, where his proactive and self-motivated approach consistently delivers results. He is the author of the accounting textbook ‘Mastering Group Financial Statements,’ a testament to his knowledge and passion for the field.

His considerable experience includes providing invaluable assistance to SMEs, prominent private entities, publicly listed corporations, and high net worth individuals across various industries. Ryan’s diverse professional background features significant positions, such as serving in a multinational South African listed company, working for a Big Four accounting firm, managing his own accounting practice, and directing a boutique accounting advisory firm.

Yuval Has recently begun his career in the valuation industry working as an assistant valuer for Field & Kaye. Yuval has a wide range of research skills in which he uses when assisting the senior valuer’s team with their valuations. He has a broad working knowledge of different asset class and is currently working on attaining his Certified Practising Valuer accreditation under a skilled team at Field & Kaye – National Property Valuers.

Living in a land where property is an ultimate dream for many, Dilakshan has always been curious about what enables and disables this dream for those wanting to be homeowners and others who aspire to be ambitious investors. Dilakshan, who has worked in multi-disciplinary teams in various organisations, had decided to pursue a career in property valuation at Field & Kaye in the hopes of learning what makes a successful property valuable and to understand the broad spectrum of situations in which a good valuation is important. He hopes to one day apply his findings to benefit society through research. He is currently working on his API Experience Journal to become a residential property valuer (RPV).
