Stephen has over 40 years’ valuation experience. Stephen has a wealth of domestic and international valuation experience. Stephen specialises in valuations of unusual properties and high-end residential properties in the Lower North Shore, Northern Beaches and Eastern Suburbs of Sydney. Stephen is a guest lecturer on Valuation of Unusual Properties at the University of Technology, Sydney and has presents to the Australian Property Institute on valuations of telecommunications facilities. Stephen has been retained by various government agencies to provide high-end valuation advice for the purpose of acquisition and resumption.
Formerly, Stephen was a senior valuer at the Rushton Group, whereby he obtained a breadth of valuation experience across Australia, New Zealand, the UK, Solomon Islands and Papua New Guinea. Notably, Stephen was retained by a publicly-listed company to undertake valuations of coffee plantations in the PNG Highlands and appeared as expert in the post-Cyclone Tracy Loss Assessment case. Stephen’s clients have included the Department of Housing, Landcom, Sydney Ports Corporation, Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority, National Parks & Wildlife, Sydney Water, North Sydney Council, Hurstville Council, Telstra, AGL and the Solomon Islands Government Super Fund. Stephen is frequently sought-after by law firms across Australia to appear as an Expert Witness in contentious legal proceedings.
